One of our Councillors, Ian Priestner, has undertaken the task of surveying the existing footpaths in the Parish and identifying issues and opportunities – this latter being the possible route of a footpath/cycleway between Utkinton and Tarporley. The map below shows some of the existing footpaths and the long, red dashed, line shows the preferred route between Utkinton and Tarporley.

The shorter red dashed line shows another problematic route whereby there is no footpath between Oulton Mill Lane and the Alvanley Arms – effectively cutting Cotebrook in two.

The other footpaths are marked and where there is a red dot there are issues to be resolve.
