Last evening the Parish Council bad ‘au revoir’ to Alex Stubbs and welcomed Sandie McBennett to the role of Parish Clerk.  Currently clerk to two other local parishes – Church Minshull and Duddon – Sandie has been involved with local communities for many years and we look forward to her contribution to parish life.  This is what she would like to say about herself;

“I’m a seasoned Administrator and Clerk, fairly new to Parish Clerking having been appointed Clerk to Church Minshull Parish Council 18 months ago and Duddon shortly after.  I have also been Clerk to the Governors at many CWAC Schools.  I enjoy Clerking and in particular supporting the Councillors with the initiatives they champion and problems they help solve.  Working for rural Parish Councils is very rewarding; I live in one too!  I look forward to getting to know Utkinton and Cotebrook in my new role.”
