We were not told but Quarry Bank is closed from around Knights Lane to the Rowley Farm due to burst water mains being repaired by United Utilities.  I spoke to the foreman and he indicated that the work could take up to Wednesday to complete. As they repair one fault and repressurise the system it fails somewhere else.  Please be patient and if you need to use this bit of road to get to the school or into the village centre please use Heaths Lane / Tirley Lane or, from Cotebrook use Utkinton Lane.
