At its Extra-ordinary Parish Council meeting, Utkinton and Cotebrook PC voted unanimously to object to the revised Planning Application 16/01492/OUT – for residential development of up to 22 dwellings at Northgate – and this was supported by quite a few residents, but will it be enough?

We reprint part of the front page of ‘Tarporley News’ with the news that the Daffodil Field planning appeal has gone against CWaC and the village of Tarporley.

If you don’t want Utkinton to be just another development then you need to do something about it and register your comments on the Cheshire West and Cheshire Planning page and use the reference  16/01492/OUT.  Or if you prefer you may write for the attention of Liza Woodray, Planning Officer at Cheshire West and Chester who is handling the application.

Our objection will be sent to CWaC and will appear in the documents attached to this application. It is vital that you have your say, whether in support of, or in objection to any application for development in the village – act now, before its too late!
