We have been made aware that the children who catch buses from, or close to the War Memorial at the junction of John Street and Quarry Bank are, unwittingly, causing damage to the flower displays and, from time to time, kicking or throwing the gravel into the road.  If the children are your, can you please make them aware of the problems they are causing, let alone the heartache of those who maintain it and the cost of doing so to the village.
