Campaign to reopen Tarporley Station

Whilst Strictly speaking the station was in Beeston, it has been known by a number of names: ‘Beeston’ (1840), then ‘Beeston Castle’ (1868) and in 1873 it was renamed as ‘Beeston Castle and Tarporley’ – but as the ‘bard’ once opined A rose by any other name … “ .  It was closed in April 1966.

 This is a campaign that many from within Tarporley Ward and beyond might like to support but why not look at their website and see what it means. And, if you agree, sign the petition which can be found here.
