CWaC 2017 Budget Consultation

We are posting this as CWaC are entering into another round of consultations about the next budget, this is from their post to us.  It is your opportunity to have a say:

“Let’s Talk Some More

Background

Last year Cheshire West and Chester Council undertook an extensive consultation exercise called ‘Let’s Talk’ which invited the public to shape its plans for the next four years. Let’s Talk received strong support, resulting in the adoption of a four year council plan and budget based on ten key priorities.

The Council has made good progress in delivering the first year of that plan and is now moving towards finalising the detailed budget for 2017-18 so is seeking your views to make sure it is still on track to deliver the public’s priorities for the year ahead.

The consultation booklet ‘Let’s Talk Some More’ provides you with a progress update and from November 2016 to early January 2017 we would like you to let us know your views before any decisions are made.

Let us know your views

We welcome your views on the priorities and direction of the council as we firm up our plans for 2017-18. If you have anything you would like to say please get in touch.

You can contact us in the following ways:

The closing date for comments is Monday, 2 January 2017.
