It isn’t often  I rant but given that there are ‘Road Closed, signs at each end of the lane and at least 6 other ‘Road Closed, signs along the 3/4 mile between Heaths Lane and Quarry Bank why do so many drivers believe that this doesn’t apply to them?

My wife and I, out for a late afternoon stroll, counted at least half a dozen cars trying it on, and one or two of those at some speed!
