We were informed this week,by CWaC Planning, that the outline planning application (16/01492/OUT) for 22 houses on the field bordered by Northgate, John Street and Rose Farm Shop has been withdrawn by the developer. This does not mean that the potential for development has ‘gone away’ as it is possible that the developer may apply again for a revised layout and numbers of houses and mix of affordable and market houses.
We were also told that, if a revised application is submitted, then the process of consultation would start from scratch. If, when, an application is submitted then the ‘Parish Council’ will try and let you know via here and the Facebook page. The current Protocol for dealing with planning applications suggests that there will be three (3) weeks for comments to be submitted and whilst the Parish Council will seek to get an extension to this period.
Should you wish to comment on any future application then you can do so on the Cheshire West and Chester ‘Simple Search’ page https://pa.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/online-applications/ or by writing in to the Planning Officer as and when their name is published on the website.
Please tell others that you know so that you are best able to make comments on any future application – in support or in objection.
