Oops! Almost missed this – TRO for Northgate 4th July – Update

We received this tonight – hopefully it will mean that the good folks in upper Northgate are able to get in and out;

TTROs are not usually advertised on the roads that they are going to effect. I would expect a black and yellow “roadworks here on #date” sign to be erected prior to the works.

The patching works being advertised would be unlikely to cause any significant delay, so I would not expect our engineers to arrange a letter drop. If it were full surfacing works, or works likely to cause a delay, we would provide the effected residents with an advance warning letter. Access for the residents will be maintained at all times, but will be under the direction of the Traffic Management staff.

Our TTROs are all advertised online at www.roadworks.org and also circulated to our standard distribution list.

The furore about the Northgate Planning Application saw this drop off the radar, my apologies.

Upper Northgate will be closed on or around 4th July – see the attachment.

The closure will come into force on 4th July 2017 and will be in force for a maximum of five days. It is anticipated that the work will last for approximately two days.Screen Shot 2017-06-28 at 19.26.59
