There are times when I hate deadlines, and particularly when they are self imposed.

This piece missed it by 24-hours so I’m sharing it now …

“In July we visited Alderford Lake, Whitchurch. A walk round the lake was followed by a scrumptious tea in the tea room.

Desert Island Discs. An evening full of fun and laughter was spent at the home of Linda and Ian Wright where we enjoyed wine and savouries as we listened to our musical choices and the accompanying stories.

On 15^th September we will be going to see the Mikron Theatre Group performing ‘In At The Deep End’

On 11^th October there will be a wine tasting evening in the village hall provided by Densems Wines of Nantwich. This will be an open evening, all welcome, tickets £5. Please book in advance on  01829 733778.”
