Its that time of year when events and the weather collide. Atrocious rain, hail and even a touch of sleet to gether with TWO Christmas Fairs in the Parish combined to deliver a lower than expected but nonetheless vocal set of 7 teams who competed in this annual ‘battle of the brains’, with questions set by Richard Francis.

The eventual winners were ‘Strictly Not!’ with a magnificent score of 43.5. Some really good food, great company, a fantastic raffle and a good bar all helped to raise funds for the village hall.

Well done to all who organised and to the plucky contestants who braved the weather.
