Having suffered a number of service failures over the past six months, or so, I was prompted to investigate what alternatives exist.  It isn’t simply a case of switching provider (eg. from BT to Sky, or Talk Talk etc.) because any provider will have to use the existing BTOpenreach infrastructure (green boxes and copper cables from the box to the house) and they would experience the same issues as BT.

So, I have a question; what are your broadband speeds like? And would you be prepared to examine other options – for example B4RN (Broadband for rural networks) who were featured on the BBC News last Tuesday evening.

I am looking at this among other options and would like to put up an online and postal survey of all of the outlying properties in Utkinton and Cotebrook and, perhaps, even to Little Budworth and Rushton/Eaton Parishes.
