We have been advised by Highways that the above road will be closed from 23rd August 2018 for a maximum of five days but the work will probably take one day.
This is for drainage work to stop the flooding at East Wind, John Street.
Residents will still have access to their properties and the contractors will be putting out signs saying ‘Businesses open as normal’.
The road closure will be from the junction of John Street with Quarry Bank to the junction with Willington Lane.
Please see the enclosed Temporary Road Order (TRO) which shows the stretch of road to be closed and the diversion.
