Way back in August 2014, we commemorated the outbreak of WW1 and were lucky enough to have this magnificent horse and rider representing the Cheshire Yeomanry.
Well, we have just heard that we will be able to welcome not one, but five mounted soldiers on Sunday 11th November to help us commemorate the cessation of hostilities, the nine men from our villages and the newly refurbished War Memorial.
We hope that you will be able to join us for the ceremony and some refreshments after in the village hall.
We will be gathering from around 10:30 and the ceremony will begin at 11:00 prompt.
PLEASE JOIN US.
I shall be Ypres Belgium this Sunday remembering the men of Utkinton and Cotebrook.
We will remember them
