PARKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR UTKINTON AND COTEBROOK WW1 COMMEMORATIONS

Remembrance Day – Sunday 11th November 2018

Venue:                   Utkinton War Memorial, John Street

Timing:                   Those wishing to attend should assemble from 10:30 and if the weather is inclement, can do so within the Village Hall.

Parking:                  This will be restricted, and we have made arrangements with Rose Farm Shop for short-term parking there.

Traffic Diversions: There will be traffic diversions in place via; Lower Northgate, Northbrook Road and Quarry Bank and marshals will be in place.  If coming from or going to Willington then please be aware that residents and a small troop of horses will be assembled at the junction of John Street and Quarry Bank and traffic will be single file only.

Post the event:      Immediately after the commemoration, restrictions will be removed and those attending will be invited to the Village Hall for refreshments.

 

Unveiling of the Utkinton and Cotebrook ‘Roll of Honour’ – Tuesday 13th November

Venue:                   Utkinton Village Hall, John Street

Timing:                   Guests may start arriving at approximately 18:30 with the Unveiling beginning at 19:00 Prompt.  It is anticipated that the ceremony will take 5 – 10 minutes and following that there will be a short period leading up to the Parish Council Meeting at 19:30. Refreshments will be available.

Parking:                 Parking at the Village Hall will be restricted to honoured guests and any residents or Councillors may use Rose Farm Shop Car Park.  There will be no parking on John Street outside the Village Hall.

Traffic Diversions:  None will be in place.
