Unlike Glastonbury we don’t have rappers to headline but we do have our traditional (it’s been going for almost 70 years)) Rose Queen (organised by Julie and Sadie Pine), the ‘Crewe Concert Band’, ‘Infinity Dance and Theatre group’, stalls galore, a football tournament, games, a burger bar, the WI Refreshment tent and so much more.
A huge list of raffle prizes all donated by local businesses – from Liverpool FC tickets to Meals to beauty therapies, a free will and photographic books by Dr Brian May (yes – THAT Brian May!)
Held in the beautiful gardens at Tirley Garth, thanks to Professor Phil and Mrs Alexis Redmond and their staff, it starts at 2pm, plenty of parking and all for the miserly sum of £2.00 per person.
There are so many people to thank, but above all the
triumvirate of ‘S’s;
Steph Wrather, Susie Wilson and Suzanne Lunt, without whom it wouldn’t happen.
