Advanced warning – road closure (Tirley Lane)

I’ve just been told that Tirley Lane will be closed (although there will be access for residents) to enable contractors to mark the road as follows:

  • Zig-Zag outside the school on Tirley Lane
  • Junction marking at the junction of Quarry Bank and Tirley Lane
  • Junction marking at the junction of Heaths Lane and Tirley Lane
  • Various ‘SLOW’ markings on Tirley Lane

We do not, as yet, have a TRO for this but it is likely to take place on Monday 17th February (Storm Dennis [the menace] permitting).

To any parents of children at the school – PLEASE DO NOT OBSTRUCT the wall adjacent to the school.

Many thanks to Sean Hickton of CWaC Highways for the attached, that arrived milliseconds after I had posted the above:

TRO-2729-tirley-lane-utkinton-116459120-3211280
