Hi, as a new local start up business we have recently opened our new workshop/showroom at Rose Farm Utkinton and we thought it may be of interest to the local residents and residents in surrounding areas to know what we do.

Landfill Angels Rescue, Recycle and Relove unwanted furniture that would have otherwise been destined for landfill.  The rescue is us collecting what people have tired of that would be destined for the tip or firewood, we recycle/upcycle using Frenchic Furniture Paint that is both ethical and environmentally friendly and the relove is the pieces going on to be resold in our workshop/showroom at Rose Farm.

We are a mother and daughter operation was born in a barn of a previous property we lived at whilst trying to fill up spaces in our home.  We found that the new furniture on offer was somewhat mass produced and of very poor quality with no character or story to tell. We started our journey by scouring charity shops for small pieces like magazine racks and side tables which we then painted and reused in our home.

There are several apps and websites where people list unwanted items which we are registered to as these days its very expensive to dispose of furniture using the councils large and bulky item service and sometimes due to the weight and size of older furniture, its difficult without a van to transport to the local recycling centres which are rapidly filling up.  This is where we found our niche.

We are soon to be stockists of the UK’s leading Furniture Paint ‘Frenchic’ and examples of our work can be found across all social media platforms by searching Landfill Angels in Facebook, Instagram, & Etsy where we have an online shop.
