The unusual circumstances in which we find ourselves should not stop the act of remembrance for those who fell – whether you do so privately at home or in a socially distanced gathering.
Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council will be honouring the brave men from our Parish whose names adorn our War Memorial and who are also remembered on the ‘Roll of Honour’ in our Village Hall.
If you would wish to join us then please assemble at the junction of Quarry Bank and John Street, Utkinton at around 10:55 on Sunday 8th November, Please remember to wear your mask and socially distance.
Harrison Hughes will place the wreath and the Chair of the Parish Council will read a short poem. Residents and visitors can also leave their tributes.
Following the wreath laying, the village hall will be open for anyone who wishes to view the ‘Roll of Honour’ – obviously strict social distancing will apply and the normal hygiene precautions. Visitors will enter via the front door and exit via the fire exit to the real of the Hall
