Only a couple of weeks ago we planted a number of fruiting trees on the new Community Orchard in Cotebrook and this evening I received this note from a concerned resident!

“Thought that I’d better let you know that I have been told that there is a lot of dog poo on the green, plus also, dog poo bags have been hung on the trees.

It’s so sad, disgusting and disappointing as everyone is trying to make the green a lovely place to be.”

If you, or anyone you know is responsible – shame on you.

This came ‘hot on the heels’ of the news that the formal transfer of ownership was about to happen.
