Over the past couple of weeks we have received a fair number of communications about the amount of dog detritus being left by our roadsides and in hedges and our survey has received quite a few responses – as a result we have narrowed down the options to three locations for possible Bins;
Primrose Wood
Knights Lane/Quarry Bank
Cotebrook Community Orchard
These, and the costs involved will be discussed at the April PC Meeting and we will report back to you all through here, Facebook and the Nextdoor pages.

Some of the offending material on Cotebrook Community Orchard.
So, we’ve looked at how YOU can help – by reporting the stuff on CWaC’s ‘Report it App’ (there are links to download the apps below.
This is from CWaC’s Website.
Dog and animal fouling
We are responsible for ensuring our roads, pavements and public land are kept as clean as possible.
How long does it take for it to be removed?
We will remove within the next 24 hours during the working week, Monday to Friday.
If you have seen anyone who has failed to pick up after their dog, please ensure to make a note of the following if possible:
- the day, date and time
- what you have seen and the location
I’ve already reported an issue
You can check the progress of the report using our status checker. You can also use this to provide an update.
Our app
You are also able to report issues using our app.
The app is available for download on the app store for your device. Once you have installed the app you will need to sign up with your email address and you will then be able to report issues.
