After a fairly heated discussion with the contractors we received (approx 11:00 15th June) a notice to tell us that Tirley Lane would be closed from 09:30 – 15:30 today. No advance warning, but we were told it was to repair the Broadband feed to the Lane from Quarry Bank to Heaths Lane and to support the residents from Grove House to Heaths Lane.

We would. normally, expect to have a TRO issued for any work, but were told by the contractors that they were awaiting a permit – this was late in being issued but is BC00815JUNWN8JGA81NJ
