Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council first proposed the concept of ‘Village Gateways’ in the Neighbourhood Plan (made in 2021) and is seeking interested parties and residents to pull together a full proposal.  One theme is that Village Gateways help to create awareness of motorists that they are entering a community for who speeding matters.  These are hoped to be across key entrances to both villages in the Parish and put in place before Her majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.
