Coffee and Cake for Macmillans at Utkinton village hall

There are so many people to thank, so I will start with the children of St Paul’s CoE Primary who basically ran the event, they were assisted by their teachers and Mr Williams (or shall we call him Steve).

Then the WI whose cakes are legend and their organisation second to none.

The ‘Bingo’ caller, John, who got it right, mostly.

Then, the lady without whom we couldn’t have ‘pulled it off’ – Sue Richardson – from the germ of an idea a little over three weeks ago she managed to get the hall full to capacity and raise a substantial amount for this really worthwhile cause.

To all who took part – let’s do it again soon – this is what village halls are for.
