I’m afraid Bamber has changed the route to avoid the hill into Utkinton. They will be turning off just before and going past Utkinton Hall. That is where they are planning to pause for lunch.
Here is the live track in case anyone wants to walk down to meet them. I would estimate their arrival between 11.30 and 12.
I know very little about this, except that it is one of those events we need to be aware of.
It passes through Tarporley at sometime today and this is its route
DAY 4: BULKELEY TO KINGSLEY
RENDEVOUS: TBD
North on minor road via Peckforton to Beeston.
Then footpath via Castlegate farm, Wharton lock, to Birch Heath.
Through Tarporley on minor road north to Utkinton.
At The Wellington minor road north then ‘Sandstone Trail’ north via King’s Gate.
Cross A556 north on footpath Netterford Wood.
Over railway line then footpath through Delamere Forest to Hondslough farm footpath to Castle Cob then minor road to Kingsley.
