This brief video shows the three horses (Trooper [furthest away], Caesar and Friday) and their riders resplendent in WW1 uniform, together with around 50 residents during the 2-minute silence. It was a beautiful morning and cars waited patiently (a huge thank you) for the commemoration to end.
Harrison Hughes laid the Wreath and read from ‘In Flanders Fields’, the Chair read the inscription and ‘Exhortation’ and Roger Barnes read the names of the dead with great emotion.
