Utkinton and Cotebrook – Books of Condolence/Remembrance

The Utkinton ‘Book of Condolence’ at the Village Hall has been open for five days now and the lobby at the Hall is open from 08:30 – 17:00.

This morning we had eight pupils from Utkinton St Paul’s CoE School and three of their teachers come to sign the book. They are from ‘Eagle’ Class and had obviously spent some time considering what they wanted to write – some longer that others but all heartfelt.

There is a steady trickle (we cannot compete with the London ‘Lying in State’) but nonetheless the book is being sign with some lovely messages, so please feel free to come along and sign.

Cotebrook Village Hall also has a ‘Book of Condolence’ located in the main hall and if you would like to sign it, please call Marian Atkinson on 01829 760698 and she will make it possible.

We hope to have both Books open until Tuesday evening 20th September.

If you have difficulty getting to either hall, let us know and we will try to bring the books to you.
