The signage that has been put at Burton Square and opposite Willington Hall, suggests that the whole of John Street between Tarporley and Willington via Utkinton is closed (except access for residents). It does not mention access to Rose Fam Shop. However, it is possible to get to the shops and businesses, also to Utkinton St Paul’s School and Utkinton Village Hall (both via John Street or Northbrook Road and Quarry Bank via a 3-way traffic light system for United Utilities repairs).

Please take great care when negotiating these diversions. We have no information as regards school buses.
