We are extremely lucky to live where we do and, having come through the past three years almost (I did say almost) unscathed the Parish Council and the Village Hall Committee wanted to announce a small number of events each centred around the forthcoming Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. So let’s take them in order;

On Friday 5th May, the 100-year old Village Hall is hosting two separate, but quite connected pedigrees;

In the afternoon there is an extension of the enjoyable ‘Friday Socials’ that will see a combination of St Paul’s CE School, the ‘Forest Troop’ (a wonderful group of horse-people who normally attend the annual Armistice day), Utkinton’s own ‘Mini-cops’, our PCSO, our vicar from Tarporley and those who simply enjoy good company. Add to that the coronation of two young people from the school and games for all.

And if that isn’t enough fun Utkinton Village Hall is hosting a Quiz night that evening with a definite ‘royal’ theme. Tickets can be got but they are flying out the door …
